Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, professionally known as Masterkraft, is a Nigerian-born record producer, disc jockey, band director, pianist, and songwriter.
He started his professional music career with Kennis Music, and has worked with artists such as Flavour N’abania, Bracket, Banky W., Sound Sultan, Timaya, Lynxxx, M.I, Solid Star and J. Martins, among others. His production hits include “Fine lady” by Lynxxx featuring Wizkid, “Kwarikwa (Remix)” by Flavour N’abania featuring Fally Ipupa, “Girl” by Bracket featuring Wizkid, “Chinny Baby” by Flavour N’abania, “Ukwu” by Timaya, and “Jasi” by Banky W.
Leadership newspaper ranked him 8th on its 2014 list of the Top 10 Music Producers In Nigeria. In August 2015, Nigeria Entertainment Today ranked him 7th on its list of Nigeria’s Top 7 Biggest Music Producers at the Moment.
Thisday newspaper listed him as one its Top 10 Music Producers in Nigeria.
Masterkraft was born in Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria, where he began his music career at age 11. Whilst growing up, he attended United Christian Secondary School in Apapa and dreamt of being an accountant.
Masterkraft started his foray into the music industry at the age of 11 and has experienced overwhelming success as a producer in recent years. His leadership and production expertise have been a major contributor to the success of many A- list artists including Flavour, Banky W, Wizkid, Solid Star, Bracket and many others.
In 2015, Masterkraft was commissioned as one of the guest producers to Africa’s popular music show – Coke Studio (Season 3).
His production work for Flavour, Power to Win was used as the soundtrack for the Glo 2014 Nigeria World Cup campaign and licensed as one of the soundtrack for American Idol Season 14 (2015).
Masterkraft serves as CEO of his music production firm, Masterkraft Beats.
He owns credit to almost-all of Flavour’s 2014 album “Thanksful”.
Masterkraft’s net worth is estimated US $600, 000 (net worth estimated in 2017).
